About Twit Profiles

Twit Profiles is a small, free site for writing better X profiles. It has two parts: a library of 320 original bio templates organized by profession and personality, and a writer that fills in a template with your details, checks the result against X's limits and shows it on a phone-sized preview.

It is made for people with personal accounts and individual creators: nurses, teachers, students, developers, artists, gamers, cooks, parents and plenty more. If you run a business account, the templates may still help, but they were written with individuals in mind.

How the library was written

Every template was written by the Twit Profiles Team for this site. We started from the questions people actually ask when they write a bio (what do I lead with, how do I sound like myself, what do I leave out) and wrote ten bios for each of 32 professions and roles, in six tones: professional, warm, funny, minimal, bold and nerdy.

The words in [brackets] are blanks. We keep each template short enough that it still fits X's 160-character limit after you fill the blanks with ordinary-length details, and the build that publishes this site refuses any template that wouldn't.

You are free to use any template, with or without changes. You don't need to credit us.

How the writer checks your profile

The writer runs entirely in your browser. It counts characters the cautious way, treating each piece of a multi-part emoji as a character, and compares your bio, display name, username and location against X's published limits. It also flags things that are allowed but often look wrong: too many hashtags, emoji-heavy names, pronouns without a slash, the same link in two places.

We check the limits against X's Help Center and developer documentation. The last check was on November 6, 2026. If X changes something before we notice, please let us know.

Who we are

Twit Profiles is run by a small independent team, credited on the site as the Twit Profiles Team. We don't run ads, sell data or offer paid followers, and we never ask for your X password. Nothing on the site connects to your X account.

The history of this domain

The twitprofiles.com domain has been around for many years. The current site was relaunched in 2026 under new, independent management and has no connection to earlier owners of the domain or to anything published here before. Old profile and directory pages are gone and are not coming back.
